15 hours early learning for families in England receiving some additional forms of support may also be availble for children aged 2 years, please contact your local councils family hub / family information services.
15 hours of childcare in England, for all families with children aged 3 to 4 years.
If your child is eligible, you will receive a voucher code. Please make sure you have your code in place before the term you would like to use it for.
Each code needs to be reconfirmed every three months, so it would be helpful if you had a reminder in your diary.
If you happen to miss re-confirming on time, do not worry, a short grace period allows you to continue accessing your funded hours while things are updated.
To start a new term, your code must be valid on the first day of the funding period. Codes that fall into the grace period can not be accepted at that stage.
Unfortunately, the deadline dates are fixed, so we kindly encourage you to apply early to avoid any last minute stress.
If you need a hand with the eligibility process, HMRC’s helpline is available at 0300 123 4097.
